WORKSHOP | Small Vase Arrangement

Hand-Tied Bouquet 

Learn to utilize one of the most classic techniques to gather flowers. The spiral technique is widely used amongst florists to achieve a wide variety of looks. We will focus on our signature wild and loose arrangement with lots of texture, colour and movement.

Together we'll create a naturally gathered bouquet using fresh seasonal flowers and foliage, with an emphasis on locally grown blooms in season. Inspired by the garden rather than the grocery store, our bouquets embrace movement, texture, and the beauty of each stem.

We will learn a bit about flowers, the flower industry and how to be more sustainable when working with flowers like using little or not plastic, floral foam or non reusable items. We will also learn about processing flowers , simple floral care tips how to prolong the life of your flowers and vase placement. 

Whether you're new to flowers or simply looking for a creative afternoon, you'll leave with a beautiful bouquet, new skills, and a deeper appreciation for sustainable floristry.

Workshop Booking Policy

Thank you for registering for a workshop at The Botanist! We put a great deal of care into preparing each class, including ordering fresh materials and reserving your space.

Cancellations

• 7 days or more before your workshop: Eligible for a full refund.

• Less than 7 days before your workshop: Eligible for a transfer to another workshop date or store credit. 

• 48 hours or less before your workshop: Non-refundable and not eligible for store credit or transfer, as materials have already been purchased and prepared.

No-Shows

• Participants who do not attend their workshop without prior notice are not eligible for a refund, store credit, or transfer.

Transfer Your Spot

• Workshop registrations are 100% transferable. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place. Please let us know before the class so we can update our attendance list.

Workshop Cancellations by The Botanist

• In the unlikely event that The Botanist needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low enrolment, instructor illness, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, you may choose a full refund, store credit, or transfer to another workshop date.
