August TBA

Join us for a hands-on floral experience celebrating the beauty of seasonal blooms and sustainable design. Using fresh flowers from local growers and a few special treasures from The Botanist farm, you'll create two beautiful botanical keepsakes to take home.

Combo A — Botanical Silk Scarf & Jam Jar Arrangement

🌿 Part 1: Botanical Silk Dyeing

Discover the magic of eco-printing as you create your own one-of-a-kind silk scarf using flowers, leaves, and other natural materials.

Learn the basics of botanical steaming techniques and watch as nature leaves its unique imprint on silk. No two scarves are ever the same, making each piece a wearable work of art.

💐 Part 2: Signature Jam Jar Arrangement

Create one of The Botanist's signature Jam Jar arrangements using a curated selection of fresh seasonal flowers.

You'll learn:

  • The fundamentals of arranging flowers in a small vase

  • How to create beautiful shape, balance, texture, and movement

  • Sustainable, foam-free floral design techniques

  • Tips and tricks to maximize vase life and enjoy your flowers longer

You'll leave with a naturally dyed silk scarf, a fresh floral arrangement, and the confidence to continue creating with flowers at home.

Combo B — Botanical Cotton Bandana & Hand-Tied Bouquet

🌿 Part 1: Botanical Eco Dyeing on Organic Cotton

Spend the afternoon exploring the beauty of natural colour and botanical printing.

Create your own eco-printed organic cotton bandana using leaves, flowers, and natural dye techniques. This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike—no artistic experience is necessary.

You'll learn:

  • How to design and bundle an eco-printed bandana

  • The basics of natural dyeing and mordanting

  • How different plants create unique colours, textures, and patterns

💐 Part 2: Spiral Hand-Tied Bouquet

While your botanical bundles work their magic in the steamer, we'll transform the studio into a floral design space.

Learn one of the most classic techniques used by florists—the spiral hand-tied bouquet. We'll cover flower preparation, stem placement, and how to create The Botanist's signature loose, natural style full of movement and texture.

Your bouquet will be wrapped in beautiful plastic-free wrap with a water bag so it's ready to take home or gift.

You'll leave with your eco-printed cotton bandana, a hand-tied bouquet, and plenty of inspiration to continue creating with flowers and plants at home.
