Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but tolerates medium light. Avoid harsh direct sun indoors, which may burn leaves.
Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering. Keep evenly moist during active growth; reduce slightly in winter.
Fertilizer: With active growth (even in winter) we recommend using a fertilizer based for foliage plants like Bios Nutrients, Gaia Green 4-4-4, or fish fertilizer.
Pet Friendly: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.

The Green Umbrella Tree is admired for its lush, glossy leaflets that fan out in an umbrella-like shape. More compact than its larger cousin (Schefflera actinophylla), it’s well-suited for indoor living spaces. With a little pruning, you can shape it into a dense bushy plant or let it grow into a graceful, tree-like form.
