Light:
Provide bright, indirect light. East- or west-facing windows are ideal. Avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the leaves. A sheer curtain can be used to diffuse intense light.

Water:
Water thoroughly when the top 50–70% of the potting medium is dry. Oncidium roots prefer to dry out slightly between waterings. In higher humidity or cooler temperatures, reduce watering frequency to prevent root rot. Ensure excellent drainage.

Fertilizer:
A specific orchid fertilizer like Jack's bloom booster or Jack's classic orchid food.You can also try a natural fertilizer like Bios plant probiotics in combination with their sulphur supplement works extremely well for epiphytic plants. Mix in yucca extract for better moisture retention in Calgary's dry weather as well as nutrient uptake.
