Light:
Requires bright, indirect to moderately direct light. An east- or south-facing window with filtered sunlight is ideal. These hybrids tolerate more light than many orchids—leaf color should be a light to medium green. Supplement with grow lights (12–14 hours/day) if needed.

Water:
Allow the potting medium to dry slightly between waterings. Water thoroughly, then let the roots breathe. In a bark-based mix, water approximately every 5–7 days, less frequently in winter. Ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot, especially in dry environments like Calgary.

Fertilizer:
Use a specific orchid fertilizer such as Jack's Bloom Booster or Jack's Classic Orchid Food.
Alternatively, a natural fertilization method using Bios Plant Probiotics in combination with their sulphur supplement works very well for epiphytic orchids. For enhanced moisture retention and nutrient absorption, especially in Calgary's dry climate, mix in yucca extract.

Pet Friendly:
Generally considered pet safe. While not toxic to cats and dogs, it’s best to keep orchids out of reach to prevent damage to the plant or accidental ingestion.
