A mineral popcorn made from naturally occurring volcanic glass. Helps with root development by increasing aeration and drainage. Perlite is naturally sterile with a neutral pH. 

Can be used in soil mixes to increase air and drainage capacity of soil or even stand alone to root and propagate plants.
