Rich, spicy, and unforgettable — Spanish Roja is a renowned hardneck garlic belonging to the rocambole family. Often called the “true garlic lover’s garlic,” it’s famous for its full-bodied flavour and excellent balance of heat and sweetness.

Raw cloves deliver a bold, fiery kick, while cooking transforms them into a smooth, complex, and slightly sweet richness that elevates any dish. Its exceptional flavour has made it a chef’s favourite for centuries.

Spanish Roja is also valued for its reliable yields and easy-to-peel cloves. Each bulb typically contains 8–12 plump cloves, wrapped in deep purple skins that reflect its heritage. Like other heirloom garlics, it’s naturally high in allicin, celebrated for both taste and health benefits.
