Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Allow soil to dry slightly between waterings. Keep evenly moist during active growth, but reduce watering in winter dormancy.
Fertilizer: With active growth (even in winter) we recommend using a fertilizer based for foliage plants like Bios Nutrients, Gaia Green 4-4-4, or fish fertilizer.
Pet Friendly: Toxic if ingested by cats and dogs.

Clivia is prized for its bold, strap-like leaves and stunning clusters of trumpet-shaped orange blooms. Often called the “plant that thrives on neglect,” it can live for decades, rewarding patient growers with a spectacular floral display each spring.
