Light: Full sun. Provide at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal growth, flowering, and fruit production.

Water: Water thoroughly when the top 2–5 cm (1–2 inches) of soil has dried. Keep soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Reduce watering during cooler periods when growth slows.

Fertilizer: With active growth (even in winter in warm climates) we recommend using a fertilizer based for foliage plants like Bios Nutrients, Gaia Green 4-4-4, or fish fertilizer. For improved flowering and fruiting, supplement with a citrus-specific fertilizer containing micronutrients such as iron, magnesium, zinc, and manganese according to label directions.

Pet Friendly: No. Citrus sulcata (Sanbokan citrus) contains compounds that may cause gastrointestinal upset in cats and dogs if ingested.
